Join Maverick Lending NYC as a Loan Originator and play a key role in helping real estate investors secure financing through expertly structured business-purpose loan solutions.
In this fast-paced, production-focused role, you will work directly with borrowers, brokers, real estate investors, and referral partners to structure loan scenarios, collect applications, issue term sheets, and guide deals through the lending process. Maverick Lending NYC is built around investor financing, with a strong focus on DSCR loans and a team that understands how to move quickly, structure deals properly, and deliver competitive loan options.

Responsibilities
Engage with real estate investors, brokers, referral partners, and prospective borrowers to understand their financing needs and present appropriate loan options.
Structure DSCR, bridge, fix-and-flip, and business-purpose loan scenarios based on borrower goals, property details, credit profile, rental income, leverage, and available lender programs.
Guide borrowers through the loan process from initial consultation through application, term sheet execution, processing, underwriting, and closing.
Collect and review required documentation, including borrower applications, credit information, entity documents, property details, leases, rent schedules, insurance, title, and other loan-related items.
Prepare and present term sheets based on loan products Maverick Lending NYC can realistically deliver.
Maintain consistent follow-up with borrowers, brokers, and referral partners to move active files forward and generate repeat business.
Work closely with processors, underwriters, closers, and internal team members to ensure loans are submitted accurately and efficiently.
Manage an active loan pipeline and provide timely updates to clients and referral partners throughout the process.
Develop self-sourced business through outbound calls, networking, LinkedIn outreach, conferences, broker relationships, and real estate investor relationships.
Stay informed on DSCR lending guidelines, investor loan products, pricing, prepayment structures, LTV limits, credit requirements, and market trends.
Skills
Proven experience in mortgage origination, financial sales, private lending, real estate, or a related sales-driven role.
Strong understanding of DSCR, Non-QM, fix-and-flip, bridge, business-purpose lending, or real estate investor financing preferred.
Ability to prospect daily, build relationships, and convert conversations into closed loan opportunities.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to explain loan terms clearly and professionally.
Comfortable working with real estate investors, brokers, builders, and business owners.
Ability to analyze borrower scenarios, property income, loan-to-value, credit strength, and basic deal structure.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple loan files, follow-ups, and client conversations at once.
Experience with mortgage software, CRM systems, Encompass, pricing engines, or loan origination platforms is a plus.
Strong math skills and attention to detail when reviewing loan terms, fees, loan amounts, pricing, and compensation.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $500,000.00 per year
