Loan Processor

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Processor to join our dynamic team in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the loan origination process, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with relevant regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of FNMA guidelines, underwriting processes, and fair housing regulations. The Loan Processor will work closely with loan officers and clients to facilitate smooth transactions from application to closing.

Duties

• Review and verify loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Gather necessary documentation from clients, including financial statements and credit reports.
• Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower eligibility.
• Process loans in accordance with FNMA guidelines and TILA regulations.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Prepare contracts and ensure compliance with fair housing regulations.
• Maintain organized records of all loan files and correspondence.
• Utilize basic math skills for calculations related to loan amounts, interest rates, and escrow accounts.
• Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks efficiently.
