LOCAL AGGREGATE DRIVER

We have a base pay starting at 45000.00 plus lots of over time paid at 37.50 hour first year. With 40 hours PTO and year end bonus with future safety bonuses.

Come with a yearly increase and after first year over time bumps to 39 hour.

This provides a year around pay check instead of seasonal work come on in and see DENNIS

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable LOCAL AGGREGATE DRIVER to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting aggregate materials such as gravel, sand, and crushed stone to various job sites and local distribution points. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to construction and infrastructure projects through efficient and professional delivery services.

Duties

• Operate a variety of trucks including side dumps belly dumps trucks to deliver aggregate materials
• Drive predetermined routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical issues, safety hazards, and proper functioning of equipment
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and company policies

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for tractor-trailer or dump truck operation
• Proven experience in truck driving, especially with freight delivery, route driving, or construction materials transportation
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and auto trans.
• Ability to load & unload materials safely using appropriate tools and equipment
• Knowledge of different types of trailers including belly dump or side helpful but not required
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to trucking and aggregate hauling
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform routine vehicle inspections
