Local CDL A Driver

FRC Trucking, LLC. is looking for a CDL Class A Driver for a steady driving opportunity in Spanaway, Washington!

With FRC Trucking, you will be transporting miscellaneous building supplies and lumber to customer’s homes. We operate within a metro market, and are required to assist other stores within our market. With FRC Trucking, you will only drive up to ten hours in one day. A flexible work schedule and a guaranteed weekly salary give you availability for the important things in life. We operate on a 6 day work week with the ability to request days off in a reasonable time frame. We put the safety and satisfaction of our employees first, and strive to exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and operate tractor-trailer with a 36-foot trailer.
• Safely drive and operate Moffett/Forklift.
• Safely load, strap, and unload all products to the trailer using both ratchet straps and tie-downs.
• Maintain USDOT compliance, including medical cards and random drug screenings.
• Document all necessary logs, including mileage logs and maintenance checks.
• Communicate with customers in a kind, caring, and professional manner.
• Maintain a professional appearance throughout your shift.
• Communicate with dispatch all delivery issues, concerns, and mechanical problems.

Driver Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a 10-Speed manual transmission.
• Ability to obtain Moffett certifications (reimbursed by FRC Trucking).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Open, honest, and respectful communication with employees and management.
• Punctuality, responsibility, and time management skills are a must!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $250.00 per day
