Local - CDL A Driver

Job Description:
As a Truck Driver at Ponce Ground Service LLC, you will be an integral part of our logistics team, responsible for transporting freight efficiently and safely. This role is vital in maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellence in service.
Responsibilities

• Operate various types of trucks to transport goods safely.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Plan routes effectively to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding schedules, delays, or issues during transit.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries to enhance client satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum one year experience operating various truck types including Dry Vans.
• No more than one moving violation or at fault accident on MVR/PSP.
• Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers.
• Familiarity with route planning and navigation systems is a plus.

Wage Range: 25.00 - 27.00 per hour
