Local CDL Truck Driver $900-1200

We need a Team Player. You will be paid well to perform at a high level. Home everyday with weekend options.

Duties

• Operate tractor-trailers with automatic transmissions across designated local routes, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness before each journey
• Deliver freight accurately and efficiently to various destinations within the local area, maintaining schedule integrity
• Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, optimizing delivery times while ensuring cargo security
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any route adjustments
• Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo details, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• mandatory; willingness to learn is valued
• Proven truck driving experience with a focus on local deliveries and route driving
• Knowledge of different trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to freight handling and vehicle operation
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and customers
