Local Class A Driver

Job Summary
FoxBox and Fox Tire Recycling is seeking a skilled and dedicated person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, handling refrigerated trailers, forklifts, and other equipment. This will be a job consisting of picking up and delivering FoxBox Portable Storage units, talking directly to customers to obtain order information and schedule deliveries, driving and picking up waste tires from Fox Tire Recycling customers, and sorting/processing tires at our location.

Duties

• Operate our FoxBox Portable Storage delivery truck to make deliveries to residential and commercial customers
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Load and unload shipping containers from Fox Tire Recycling customers.
• Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while maximizing fuel efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Coordinate Equipment Transportation for construction company partners.
• Assist Operations Manager and General Manager in answering phone calls.
• Talking with customers to build schedules and create new orders.
• Utilize forklifts as needed for loading and unloading cargo.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Or ability to obtain a CDL.
• Experience with airbrakes.
• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, forklifts, and other specialized equipment is a plus.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is highly desirable.
• Ability to load and unload freight efficiently and safely.
• Strong understanding of route driving techniques and navigation skills.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with team and customers.

Pay: $56,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
