Tri State Building Supply – Truck Driver Job Responsibilities:
Drive and operate a variety of trucks and equipment.
Follow road maps and directions to job site locations.
Verify outgoing loads for accuracy, deliver them as instructed, pick up
return supplies and materials, and complete all log paperwork.
Load and unload cargo from vendor deliveries.
Basic vehicle upkeep: pre-inspect truck daily, comply with all safe work practices,
policies, and processes always.
Help with other yard duties when loads aren’t available.
Skills and Qualifications:
Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge.
Forklift experience helpful.
Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
Ability to pass random drug tests.
Clean driving record -- No DUI/ DWI convictions in the past seven years.
Excellent listening skills along with good verbal communication.
Dependability a must.
Education, Experience, and Age Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
CDL – Class A or Class B including Manual Transmission Endorsement
21 years or older
