We are seeking a motivated and dependable Local Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport aggregates, construction materials, asphalt, and other freight within local job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and vehicle operation will ensure efficient deliveries and pickups while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks safely across various local routes, ensuring timely pickup and delivery of materials.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Follow designated routes accurately, adjusting plans as necessary based on traffic or site conditions.
• Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including proper documentation for freight handling.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks or tractor-trailers.
• Familiarity with dump truck operation and route driving in urban or construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to truck driving, freight handling, and vehicle maintenance.
• Physical stamina to load/unload freight and perform routine inspections; ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Additional skills such as experience with freight delivery, truck driving for construction projects, or familiarity with different trailer types are a plus. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
