Local Hostler Driver/Yard Jockey

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Hostler and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this active role, you will support daily warehouse operations by receiving and processing incoming freight, preparing outbound shipments, picking and filling orders, organizing inventory, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. This position also includes safely moving trailers onsite using hostler or yard equipment in accordance with company procedures and applicable safety requirements. Your proactive approach, attention to detail, and commitment to safe equipment operation will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while keeping freight moving efficiently. Duties

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move, load, unload, and organize inventory in compliance with company safety policies.
• Safely move trailers onsite using hostler equipment in a safe, responsible manner and in accordance with company procedures and applicable DOT regulations.
• Build and assemble pallets for shipping as required.
• Support warehouse distribution activities by loading trucks, unloading incoming shipments, and ensuring proper storage of goods

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of hostling/yard jockey or distribution center experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is highly desirable; forklift certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to assist in multiple areas of the operation as needed.

Schedule

• Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
