Valor Home Services is a residential remodeling company focused on higher‑end kitchen, bathroom, and basement projects, plus select small projects. We handle the construction and project management and are building a more “concierge” experience for homeowners who want guidance on finishes and selections, not just a contractor.

Role Overview
We’re looking for a project‑based Selections Coordinator to help our remodeling clients choose materials, finishes, and layouts that look great, function well in older homes, and fit their budget. This is not a full HGTV design role. It’s focused, practical selections work integrated into our existing construction process.

This is ideal for:

• Cabinet designers
• Bathroom / kitchen showroom designers
• Interior designers who enjoy the selections phase and working with contractors

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners (in‑person and/or virtual) to understand style, priorities, and budget
• Curate 1–3 coordinated “looks” (tile, cabinets, counters, plumbing fixtures, lighting, hardware, paint) per project
• Guide clients through showrooms / vendor options and help them make final decisions
• Produce clear, detailed spec sheets for our team (SKUs, colors, finishes, layouts)
• Coordinate with our project manager to ensure selections align with schedule, lead times, and site conditions
• Provide limited layout feedback (within existing footprints) when appropriate

Qualifications

• Experience as a cabinet, bath, kitchen, or interior designer (showroom or field)
• Strong eye for coordinating finishes and practical product knowledge
• Comfortable working inside a contractor’s process (budgets, timelines, constraints)
• Clear, professional communication with homeowners and trade partners
• Reliable, organized, and able to hit deadlines

Compensation & Type

• Contract / project‑based (1099)
• Flat fee per project, based on scope (bath vs kitchen vs multi‑room)
• Flexible schedule; work can be scheduled around your existing role, if allowed by your employer’s policies
