Local Pet Nanny

Southern Paws Pet Sitting is expanding! We are currently looking for dedicated Local Pet Nannies who understand that pet care is about more than just a walk.

The Role: Your Impact as a Pet Nanny

As a professional caregiver, you will manage a daily route of household visits, ensuring every dog and cat in our care receives elite-level attention. Your responsibilities include:

• Customized Care Protocols: Strictly following owner instructions for feeding, medication administration, and specific health needs.
• Active Engagement: Providing high-energy exercise for dogs and interactive play sessions for cats.
• Household Support: Performing light cleanup (litter boxes, accidental messes) to ensure the home remains tidy.
• Client Connection: Using our mobile app to send detailed visit reports and photos to keep owners connected to their pets.

Incentives & Schedule

We believe in rewarding the reliability our clients depend on:

• Standard Rate: $15.00 per hour for weekday daytime visits.
• Premium Rate: $20.00 per hour for all evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Job Stability: This is a year-round, part-time position with consistent work.

Shift Availability Needs

We are specifically hiring for the following time blocks. Please note that weekend and holiday availability is a core requirement for all staff.

• AM Block: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Mid-Day Block: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• PM Block: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Candidate Requirements

To ensure the safety of our clients’ homes and pets, all applicants must meet the following:

• Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Mobility: You must own a dependable, insured vehicle (this is a driving role that requires traveling between multiple homes in Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Goodlettsville).
• Environment: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and handling different breeds/temperaments of dogs and cats.
• Professionalism: A self-motivated individual with strong communication skills and a high level of accountability.
