What You’ll Do

As a Ready Mix Driver, you’ll play a key role in delivering quality products that literally lay the foundation for our communities.

• Safely operate ready-mix trucks between plant locations and job sites
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
• Monitor and adjust concrete consistency (slump) using visual checks and gauges
• Complete daily preventative maintenance on your truck
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant staff, and fellow drivers
• Maintain cleanliness of your assigned mixer (inside & out)
• Support team success by assisting with training when needed
• Navigate job sites safely and professionally
• Assist with plant maintenance and general upkeep
• Deliver excellent customer service with a positive, team-first attitude

What It Takes

This role is hands-on and active — perfect for someone who enjoys staying moving and engaged throughout the day.

• Lift 45–50 lbs (concrete chutes) to chest height
• Carry 25–30 lb bags of materials (calcium, fiber, etc.)
• Climb stairs, ladders, and regularly get on/off the truck
• Reach, squat, balance, push, and pull as needed
• Work outdoors in varying conditions
