Local Truck Driver Class A

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive various types of heavy equipment, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Load and unload freight using manual transmission vehicles.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient and timely delivery of goods.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation of cargo.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents that occur during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate logistics and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with experience in operating heavy equipment such as tractor-trailers or dump trucks.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading cargo.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and dispatchers effectively.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per week
