Duties

• Safely operate end dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and other heavy-duty vehicles such as dump trucks and roll-off trucks on local routes.
• Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts or manual methods, ensuring cargo integrity.
• Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules while maintaining safety and compliance with traffic laws.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or refrigerated trailers as required for different types of freight.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, or tanker trucks.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred.
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks.
• Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or manual techniques when necessary.
• Strong knowledge of route driving practices within local areas; excellent navigation skills required.
• Physical ability to handle the demands of truck driving including lifting heavy loads and performing vehicle inspections. This role is perfect for motivated drivers eager to make an impact through energetic service delivery while maintaining the highest safety standards!

Pay: $250.00 - $450.00 per day
