We are a customized 3PL company specializing in delivery and warehouse operations, inventory control, transportation management, and workforce solutions. As a Location Manager, you will play a key role in leading warehouse operations and ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all activities.
As a Location Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and shipping operations and is required to oversee the accuracy, timely receipt, storage, and preparation of shipments while maintaining compliance with company policies, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Location Manager leads warehouse personnel, coordinates with delivery partners and clients, drives efficiency, quality, and accountability

- Supervise daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities to ensure on-time and accurate fulfillment
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including scheduling and shipment documentation
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all materials
- Lead, train, and manage warehouse personnel
- Assign duties and monitor team performance
- Enforce SOPs, work instructions, and safety protocols
- Participate in hiring and disciplinary actions as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and audits
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shipping issues
- Promote and enforce a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and warehouse layout
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (efficiency, cost, service levels)
- Track and report KPIs (on-time shipments, accuracy, performance)
- Act as main point of contact between warehouse and customer service
- Communicate staffing needs and operational updates to management
- Collaborate with transportation providers and logistics partners
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–5 years of warehouse or shipping operations experience
- 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of inventory control, shipping documentation, and WMS (RF scanners)
- Strong understanding of safety practices
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending)
- Flexibility to work extended hours if needed
