Job Title: Locum Tenens Cardiac Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Royal Surgical Associates (RSA Locums)

Founded and run by experienced cardiac surgery PAs and healthcare professionals, we connect top-tier Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) with premier facilities nationwide.

We are actively seeking experienced Cardiac Surgery / Cardiothoracic Surgery NPs and PAs for flexible locum tenens assignments across the country. Typical Responsibilities (Vary by Assignment):

• Cardiac Surgery - First-assist in the OR for adult cardiac and cardiothoracic procedures (CABG, valve repairs/replacements, aortic cases, TAVR, thoracic surgeries, etc.). Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) and other advanced techniques when required.
• CVICU - Provide comprehensive peri-operative care, including pre-op evaluations, intra-operative support, and post-operative management in inpatient settings (floor and CVICU). Patient rounding, ECMO, central lines, chest tubes, etc..

Schedule & Assignment Details:

• Flexible locum tenens assignments: short-term, ongoing, or locums-to-perm options.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Certification as an Acute Care NP or equivalent for NPs; relevant PA certification required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $120.00 - $150.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
