Locum Dentist – Albany & Monmouth, OR (Temporary/Contract)

Job Description:
Healthy Smiles Dental is seeking an experienced Locum Dentist to provide temporary coverage at our Albany and Monmouth clinic locations. This role is ideal for a flexible, patient-focused provider who is comfortable working across more than one practice site as needed.

The locum dentist will be scheduled at both locations, depending on clinic needs.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver general dental services including exams, fillings, extractions, crowns, etc.
• Review and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with clinical support staff.
• Ensure high standards of patient care and safety.
• Be punctual and reliable for scheduled locum assignments.

Requirements:

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active dental license in Oregon (or ability to obtain a temporary/locum license).
• Current CPR certification.
• Malpractice insurance (or able to obtain).
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Familiarity with Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and ODS guidelines, documentation, and treatment authorization requirements preferred

Schedule , Locations & Duration:

Albany Clinic:

• Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Most Fridays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Monmouth Clinic:

• Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Select Fridays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Schedule may vary slightly based on clinic needs, Fridays are negotiable. Candidate is scheduled at both locations.
This is a temporary assignment starting January 30th, 2026 for approximately 12 weeks, with potential for future locum opportunities.
