- Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary

Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans

Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records

Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department

Stay updated on advancements in critical care medicine and best practices
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Active medical license in the state of Texas

Board certification or eligibility in Critical Care Medicine

Strong clinical skills and the ability to work under pressure

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in a critical care setting preferred

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (6:30p-6:30a), specific dates
Setting: 2x 20-bed medical and surgical ICUs
Patient Census: 17-18 per unit per night
Support Staff: APPs
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
