We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Radiology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services in the field of radiology. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans for patients, contributing significantly to the overall healthcare delivery system. As a Locum MD Radiology, you will be involved in a variety of medical imaging projects, utilizing advanced technology to support patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of radiology reports and patient records.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and techniques in the field of radiology.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating imaging equipment.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review and discuss patient outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and uphold ethical standards in healthcare practice.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Medical Doctor.
• Specialization or certification in Radiology.
• Proven experience working in a clinical setting, handling various radiology procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate diagnosis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and make informed decisions in critical situations.
• Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning in the field of radiology.

Shifts: 7p-7a

Schedule: Shifts available 7 days per week

Cases: ED reads and stat cases

Modalities: X-rays, CTs, and MRs

EMR: Epic

PACS: Change

Dictation: Dragon

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
