- Assist in surgical procedures within the cardiothoracic surgery department

Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care for patients

Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to develop treatment plans

Monitor patient progress and address any complications

Educate patients and families on treatment options and post-operative care

Document patient information accurately in medical records

Participate in surgical rounds and team meetings

Stay current with advancements in cardiothoracic surgery practices
- Associate degree or higher in Physician Assistant studies

Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)

Experience in a surgical or cardiothoracic setting preferred

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4x10's or 5x8's

Must have first and second assist experience in the OR
