**Daily Work Expectations (for 8-hour shift):**

**Patient Volume:** 90–100 - **wRVUs (Work Relative Value Units):** 60–70 -

**Equipment Used:** X-Ray (XR), MRI (MR), Nuclear Medicine (NM), CT Scan (CT), Ultrasound (US), Fluoroscopy (Flouro)

**Types of Cases we Handle:**

**Emergency Room (ER) Cases** -

**Musculoskeletal (MSK) Cases** -

**Neurology (Neuro) Cases** -

**Nuclear Medicine (Nuc Med) Cases** -

**Pediatric Cases (Children)** -

**Fluoroscopy Cases**

**Light Interventional Radiology (IR) Procedures

**

1. **Biopsies:** Taking samples from Thyroid, Lung, Bone, Liver, and Kidney (using CT or Ultrasound guidance) 2. **Drainage Procedures:** Removing fluid from the body, including:

- Paracentesis (from the abdomen) - Thoracentesis (from the chest)

  • Abscess Drainages (infected areas)
  • Chest Tube (to drain air or fluid)
  • Cysts

3. **Lumbar Punctures:** Procedures including:

  • Diagnostic Lumbar Puncture
  • Myelogram (spinal imaging)
  • Epidural (pain relief)

4. **Arthrograms:** Injecting joints (Knee, Hip, Shoulder, Elbow, Ankle)

**Requirements for Applicants:**

  • Must have a Board Certification (official recognition of your skills)
  • Must have an active Ohio License (to practice medicine)
  • Must have a DEA Registration (license to prescribe medication)
  • Must have a clean malpractice history (no lawsuits against you)
