**Radiology Department Overview:** -

**Services Offered:** This department provides different types of imaging services like X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammograms, fluoroscopy, PET scans, and DEXA scans (which check bone density).

**Worklist Platform:** The department uses a system called Merge Workflow Orchestrator (MWO) that works with voice recognition to help radiologists read images.

**Average Volume:** - **Emergency Room Studies:** About 120-145 exams every day. -

**Total Exams:** About 346-382 exams every day. -

**Mammography:** Includes different types of mammograms for checking and diagnosing breast issues.

**Current Coverage:** Radiologists check some images remotely through a network. However, being onsite is required for mammogram and fluoroscopy exams.

**Shifts Needed:** -

**Day Shift:** High number of emergency room and inpatient exams. -

**Evening Shift:** Covers emergency, inpatient, and outpatient studies. -

**Overnight Shift:** Handles emergency and routine reads.

**Onsite Requirements:**

• Must perform mammograms (both for screening and diagnosis).

• Must carry out fluoroscopy (which includes contrast studies and other procedures).

• Must be comfortable interpreting a variety of studies from the emergency room, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

**Privileges Needed:**

General diagnostic radiology, fluoroscopy, and mammography (if it applies to daytime/onsite shifts). -

**Onsite Requirements:

** Medical orientation and hospital credentialing are needed. -

**Remote Access:** Through Merge Workflow.

**Qualifications:** -

**Must Have:** - Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology (this is necessary)

• Active Florida Medical License or IMLC (this is necessary)

- MQSA certification for mammography (important for onsite shifts) -

Comfortable reading different types of studies from emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
