Locum Tenens - Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Job - Make Up to $15,000 per Month

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative healthcare team focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services across diverse patient populations, including preventive care, chronic disease management, acute illness treatment, and wellness education.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions across patients of all ages
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines and best practices
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and preventive care measures as appropriate
• Perform clinical procedures such as suturing, injections, IV therapy, catheterization, and wound care
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate continuity of care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, disease prevention, medications, and healthy lifestyle practices
• Accurately document patient encounters using EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, clinical protocols, and quality standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team-oriented environment

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license and Family Medicine certification (FNP-C or equivalent) in the applicable state
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in primary care, family medicine, urgent care, or related clinical settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
• Experience using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient management
• Proficiency in performing common outpatient clinical procedures
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, telehealth, or infectious disease management is a plus
