Locum Tenens - Family Nurse Practitioner Job - ($100 per hour)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical examinations, and risk assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions across a broad patient population.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and imaging to support clinical decision-making.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and care teams.
• Prescribe medications and provide preventive care, health education, and wellness counseling.
• Manage follow-up care and coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems.
• Follow all state regulations, clinical protocols, and patient safety standards.

Requirements

• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in California or eligibility for California licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with FNP certification.
• Experience working in primary care, outpatient clinics, urgent care, or community health settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for patient documentation.
• Ability to provide patient-centered care while working collaboratively with healthcare teams.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
