Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and demonstrate expertise in various medical specialties. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services, with an emphasis on patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. The Physician will collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients across diverse settings.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient health status.
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various medical conditions.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including Epic, for efficient patient documentation and management.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, airway management, and IV infusion as needed.
- Provide perioperative care and participate in surgical procedures when applicable.
- Engage in critical care management for patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment.
- Collaborate with specialists in areas such as cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and more to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on health coaching, disease prevention, and management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution; board certification in relevant specialty preferred.
- Proven experience in clinical settings such as hospitals or outpatient clinics.
- Proficiency in EHR systems; familiarity with Epic is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding (CPT/ICD).
- Experience in various specialties including but not limited to psychiatry, maternal-fetal medicine, dermatology, oncology, pediatrics, and emergency medicine is desirable.
- Ability to perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as CT scans or mammography when required.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and education.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through participation in clinical trials or research initiatives.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1 week per month
Weekend call shifts available
Cases: Interventional or general cardiology
Interventional Duties: Procedures, cath lab coverage, and clinic
General Duties: Clinic and hospital services
Must be board-certified

Pay: $100.00 - $250.00 per hour
