Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate proficiency in various medical specialties. This role involves diagnosing and treating patients, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the highest standards of medical practice. The Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive care across a range of settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions across multiple specialties, including but not limited to psychiatry, cardiology, gastroenterology, and endocrinology.
  • Utilize EHR systems for accurate patient documentation and management.
  • Perform medical procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and airway management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective care plans.
  • Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Participate in clinical research and trials to advance medical knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Manage acute pain, perform wound care, and provide post-operative care as needed.
  • Engage in health coaching and support patients in lifestyle modifications.

Skills

  • Proficient in EHR systems and EMR systems for efficient patient management.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical practices across various fields such as internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn), and neurology.
  • Experience with critical care procedures including ventilator management, trauma medicine, and emergency medicine.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic imaging techniques such as CT scans and mammography.
  • Ability to perform advanced procedures including botulinum toxin treatment, vascular interventional radiography, and radiation therapy.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing patient records and adhering to NCQA standards. Schedule: 12-hour day or swing shifts

Weeknight and weekend call required

50 anesthetizing locations per day

Case Types: General, pediatric, or high-acuity neuro cases

Supervision Model: 1:2 in main OR, 1:3 or 1:4 in procedure rooms

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $100.00 - $200.00 per hour
