Position Overview: Green Lake Conference Center (GLCC) is seeking a dedicated and flexible Lodging and Facilities Team Member to support our commitment to providing a clean, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment for our guests.
This role is cross-functional and may serve in housekeeping, laundry services, custodial care, inventory coordination, and lodging support based on daily operational needs. The Lodging and Facilities Team Member plays an essential role in ensuring guest rooms, public spaces, and facility operations meet GLCC’s high standards of hospitality, stewardship, and excellence.
This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, physical stamina, and a servant-hearted mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Room & Public Area Care

Clean and prepare guest rooms, restrooms, lobbies, stairwells, entryways, and common spaces.

Ensure accommodations are tidy, sanitized, and guest-ready.

Complete deep cleaning and seasonal projects as assigned.

Maintain organization of housekeeping closets and storage areas.
Laundry & Linen Services

Process, clean, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and related items.

Maintain consistent quality standards for all laundry.

Coordinate timely collection and delivery of linens to guest facilities.

Monitor laundry equipment and report maintenance concerns.
Inventory & Supply Management

Monitor, stock, and replenish housekeeping and facility supplies.

Assist with regular inventory counts and documentation.

Coordinate delivery and distribution of housing supplies across campus.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and inventory levels.
Daily Operations & Logistics

Support route coordination for linen and supply delivery.

Assist with organization and transport of equipment and materials.

Provide backup support across housing functions when needed.

Maintain clean and organized workspaces to enhance efficiency and safety.
Safety & Compliance

Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals, equipment, and supplies.

Ensure compliance with operational safety standards.

Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Team Collaboration & Guest Service

Work closely with Housing Services team members and other departments.

Respond to guest requests with warmth, humility, and professionalism.

Communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.

Contribute positively to a supportive, mission-driven team culture.
Secondary & Additional Duties

Provide support for laundry, housekeeping, custodial care, or distribution functions as needed.

Assist with special projects or peak-season demands.

Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support overall operations.

Prior experience in housekeeping, custodial services, laundry operations, hospitality, or logistics preferred but not required.
Schedule & Commitment:

Flexible scheduling based on organizational needs

Typical work hours fall between 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Sunday–Saturday

One weekend day availability is required
