  • Coordinate with freight forwarders to request and gather shipping quotations for items coming from imported suppliers.
  • Communicate with forwarders via email and phone to confirm booking details, pickup schedules, shipping modes, and requirements.
  • Compare freight quotes and provide recommendations based on cost, timing, and shipment needs.
  • Follow up with forwarders for shipment updates, tracking numbers, and estimated arrival dates.
  • Communicate with international suppliers regarding shipping instructions and required documents (invoice, packing list, etc.).
  • Review and organize all shipping documents to ensure accuracy and customs compliance.
  • Update shipment logs, records, and inventory systems with accurate information.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to schedule and prepare items for delivery to customers.
  • Ensure delivery instructions are clearly communicated to drivers or couriers and confirm completion of deliveries.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams to prepare for incoming shipments.
  • Monitor inbound shipments and assist in resolving any delays or logistic issues.
  • Respond to emails and phone calls related to logistics inquiries.
  • Perform general logistics and administrative support tasks as needed.
  • Can work with minimal supervision.
  • Can work under pressure.
