Logistic Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics Planning & Coordination
• Develop and implement logistics strategies for construction sites.
• Coordinate delivery schedules for materials, equipment, and tools.
• Ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of resources.
• Site Operations Support
• Collaborate with site engineers and project managers to align logistics with construction timelines.
• Monitor and optimize site access, storage areas, and traffic flow.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Supply Chain Management
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Track inventory levels and manage stock control systems.
• Resolve logistics-related issues and delays.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory.
• Prepare logistics reports and dashboards for management.
• Support audits and inspections related to logistics operations.
• Team Leadership
• Supervise logistics staff and subcontractors.
• Provide training and guidance on logistics procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in construction logistics, preferably in supervision roles.
• Strong knowledge of construction site operations and supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in logistics software and project management tools.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
• Familiarity with international logistics and customs regulations.
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.
