Job Responsibilities – Logistics Executive (TMT Bar Distributor)

• Coordinate daily dispatch and transportation of TMT bars from plant/depot to dealers and sites.
• Arrange vehicles as per order quantity and delivery schedule.
• Ensure timely placement of vehicles and on-time delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with transporters for freight rates, availability, and route planning.
• Track vehicle movement and update delivery status to sales and accounts teams.
• Handle delivery challans, LR copies, invoices, and other logistics documents.
• Monitor loading and unloading activities to avoid damages or shortages.
• Follow up on shortages, damages, and claims with transporters and plants.
• Ensure transporter bills are verified and submitted on time for payment.
• Maintain daily logistics records including dispatch, delivery, and pending status.
• Coordinate with warehouse/yard staff for stock availability and loading plans.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety norms during transportation.
• Resolve delivery-related complaints from dealers and customers.
• Support sales team for urgent or priority dispatch requirements.
• Maintain good relationships with transporters and logistics partners.
