Overview

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to oversee and optimize the flow of goods, data, and dollars across our supply chain. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, financial acumen, and a knack for turning operational data into actionable insights that improve efficiency and profitability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Analysis: Evaluate logistics and supply chain transactions to assess cost efficiency, risk exposure, and compliance with company policies.
  • Documentation Review: Examine purchase orders (POs), bills of lading (BLs), and shipping documents for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to terms.
  • Execution & Tracking: Manage and monitor shipments, ensuring timely and accurate execution in line with internal procedures and contractual agreements.
  • Cost Management: Calculate freight, handling, documentation, and other logistics-related fees — ensuring accuracy and proper allocation.
  • Profitability Analysis: Compute product markups and margins to confirm financial targets are met across shipments and client accounts.
  • Data Management: Maintain transaction records, shipment ledgers, and logistics cost databases with precision and timeliness.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports summarizing shipment performance, cost trends, and operational profitability for management review.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with vendors, carriers, clients, and internal teams to obtain required documentation and resolve discrepancies.
  • Compliance: Ensure full adherence to logistics standards, internal control policies, and applicable international trade regulations.
  • Data Analysis & Tools: Use Microsoft Excel to perform data analysis, reconciliations, and create dashboards that highlight KPIs, trends, and optimization opportunities.
