ABOUT THE JOB
The Logistics Analyst assists with overseeing all domestic and international freight functions including but not limited to pricing, scheduling and managing fulfillment flow. You will ensure all sales orders are scheduled and delivered on time within the cost structure needed to achieve profitability. This role will maintain effective communication between our distribution centers, brokers and distributors to maintain clear status reports on all deliveries.
The primary focus is on processing orders and driving on-time deliveries to our distribution network, managing any delays or fulfilment challenges and ensuring best in class communication with our various partners to minimize any risk to our fulfillment process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/THE DAY-TO-DAY

Own and direct the scheduling of all outbound freight, working directly with carriers, 3PL partners, distribution centers, distributors to ensure timely delivery.

Receive, verify, and process sales orders from distributor partners and arrange transportation as needed.

Make order adjustments, including product additions/removals or pricing updates, prior to invoicing.

Oversee freight movement end to end, optimizing carrier route and mode selection to reduce costs and improve delivery times.

Maintain daily communication with carriers and logistics partners to address delays, exceptions, and delivery related issues.

Lead quarterly delivery performance reviews with logistics partners; identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Partner with the Supply Chain team to communicate risks, delays, or schedule changes, ensuring all stakeholders remain informed on all orders status.

Collaborate with S&OP and Replenishment teams to understand low‑stock or out‑of‑stock risks and proactively relay updates to accounts, distributors, and field teams.

Verify monthly that all current‑month orders are invoiced or appropriately rolled over to the following month.

Maintain shipment records such as items purchased, freights cost, delivery, product quality and inventories

Monitor, reconcile, and approve freight and 3PL invoices, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

Analyze freight spend and provide insights to support cost optimization and budget accuracy.

Perform monthly inventory reconciliations, including bailment state reconciliations.

Manage 3PL performance by monitoring KPIs across receiving, storage, processing, picking, packing, and shipping activities.

Travel may be required quarterly to 3PL locations or distribution hubs to support audits, reviews, and operational improvements.

Lead regular audits of logistics processes, documentation, and systems to ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards.

Stay informed on market and freight trends, including commodity cost fluctuations, and communicate insights to leadership to support planning and budgeting.

Support cross‑functional initiatives to streamline supply chain processes and improve end‑to‑end operational performance.

Assist in processing freight claims and returns, including damage, shortage, and loss claims, ensuring timely submission and resolution.

Experience is needed with Alcohol/Beverage industry experience strongly preferred
Skills/Traits:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with members across the organization and external partners

Experience using ERP, preferably Business Central
-
Problem-solving skills including problem analysis, planning, and organizing, decisiveness, decision-making, and judgment

Ability to self-initiate activities, work within timelines, and work in a team environment

Proficient in the use of computers required with a strong knowledge of Microsoft program
-
Strong analytical and root-cause analysis skills.

Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing organizational needs

Compensation & Benefits:

Target salary:
$81,000– $88,000 per year
(final offer based on experience).
