Logistics Analyst IV Medical Liaison Support (LNO) Systems Analyst

Position Location: Ft. Detrick, MD

The Logistics Analyst IV, Medical Liaison will provide comprehensive medical logistics support various Army units. This role involves coordinating medical sustainment operations, managing medical materiel, and ensuring optimal healthcare readiness. The LNO Systems Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert with comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of Army Automation Systems. These systems include, but are not limited to:

  • Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics System (TEWLS),
  • LOGICOL System,
  • Army Enterprise System Integration Program (AESIP),
  • Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A),
  • Lead Materiel Integrator Decision Support Tool (LMI-DST),
  • Medical Materiel Mobilization Planning Tool (M3PT),
  • Other systems specifically authorized by PEO-S and PM SMD

As an Logistics Analyst IV / Medical Liaison, you will:

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide medical logistics assistance support to units, ensuring the delivery of medical sustainment technical guidance.
  • Use Army Automation Systems to plan and execute accurate fielding missions.
  • Provide training to other staff members within the Soldier Medical Devices program to ensure proficiency in the use of these systems and support the successful execution of fielding operations.
  • Advise and assist the Government in the transition, implementation and execution of DPAS system as the accountable property system of record (APSR) for material transactions and accountability.
  • Advise and assist the Government with transition, implementation, and execution of DST-SM Distribution Coordination platform designed to build Materiel Fielding Plans for medical device distribution.
  • Advise and assist the Government with transition, implementation, and execution of DST-SM Distribution Synchronization/Equipping Events Platform designed to accurately reflect approved materiel fielding project schedules.
  • Maintain close coordination with PEOS, PM SMD, other Medical Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) liaisons, local stakeholders, and support agencies.
  • Provide liaison support services between PEOS, PM SMD FID and Army Medical Materiel Centers, globally located medical contingency support activities, and exercises.
  • Assist in the development, publication, distribution, and archive management of Mission Support Plan agreements and supported documentation.
  • Understand and follow current medical regulations, emerging medical initiatives, and materiel updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in medical logistics or a related field.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Strong knowledge of Army automated logistics systems such as TEWLS, LOGICOL System, AESIP, GCSS-A, LMI-DST, and M3PT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with personnel at various echelons.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize requirements effectively.
  • Experience in coordinating and managing medical materiel fielding missions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and use appropriate personal protective equipment as required.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English.
  • Must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
