Job Summary
The
3PL & Demand Planner Specialist
is responsible for coordinating third-party logistics (3PL) operations while developing accurate demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels, service performance, and cost efficiency. This role acts as a key link between planning, logistics partners, sales, and internal stakeholders to align demand, supply, and distribution execution.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

2–5 years of experience in demand planning, logistics, or supply chain operations

Hands-on experience working with 3PL providers

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and planning tools

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English & Turkish; preferably Dutch

Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
Key Responsibilities:
Demand Planning

Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, promotions, and sales inputs

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align forecasts with business plans

Monitor forecast accuracy (e.g., MAPE, bias) and implement continuous improvement actions

Translate demand forecasts into replenishment and inventory planning requirements
3PL Management

Manage daily operations with third-party logistics providers (warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment)

Monitor 3PL performance against SLAs, KPIs, and cost targets
-
Resolve operational issues related to inventory discrepancies, delays, damages, or service failures

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics plans with 3PL partners
Inventory & Supply Coordination

Ensure optimal inventory levels across warehouses to meet service level targets

Support inventory control activities such as cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and aging analysis

Collaborate with procurement and supply planning to align supply with forecasted demand
Reporting & Analysis

Prepare regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory health, service levels, and logistics performance

Analyze data to identify risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities

Support monthly S&OP / IBP processes with insights and recommendations
Process Improvement & Compliance

Drive process improvements across demand planning and logistics operations

Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and 3PL contracts
-
Support system enhancements (ERP, WMS, planning tools) and data accuracy initiatives
