As the Logistics & Inventory Manager, you’ll oversee inventory control, warehouse management, and distribution logistics to ensure that our products are efficiently stored, tracked, and delivered. You will work closely with the production, procurement, and sales teams to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end inventory and warehouse operations, including stock receipt, storage, dispatch, and returns.
- Implement inventory tracking systems to minimize stock discrepancies and ensure real-time visibility.
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners, vendors, and distributors to ensure timely delivery and replenishment.
- Optimize logistics costs and delivery timelines through route planning and vendor negotiation.
- Maintain accurate records of goods received, shipped, and stored.
- Monitor demand forecasting, reorder points, and safety stock levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Work with internal teams to forecast sales and align inventory planning accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in warehousing and transport.
- Analyze logistics performance and prepare regular inventory and dispatch reports for management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management or logistics, preferably in FMCG, D2C, or pet care industries.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations and inventory control systems.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management software (e.g., Zoho, Unicommerce, or similar).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and vendor management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
