Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic internal Logistics and Procurement Manager with a construction background to assist our constructions operations, procurement activities, and laydown. In this pivotal role, you will drive efficiency, optimize sourcing strategies, and ensure seamless coordination across all logistics functions. Your expertise will help us achieve cost-effective procurement, maintain strong supplier relationships, and provide strong solutions and innovations for tracking materials, maintaining records and warehouse inventory. You will also be tasked with ensuring the laydowns are organized and the processes
Responsibilities
- Oversee logistics operations including transportation, inventory management, and supply chain coordination to ensure timely delivery of materials to laydowns and to field crews.
- Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions or procurement issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships through effective supplier management practices, performance evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Distribute ETAs and other points of communication with Project Managers
- Maintain warehouse inventory and collaborate to ensure deliveries are properly received

Skills
- Previous experience in construction
- Proven ability with multitasking
- Strong understanding of procurement processes including purchasing, category management.
- Expertise in logistics planning, transportation coordination, inventory control, and materials management.
- Computer skilled and Knowledge of google sheets and experience with maintaining reports, files, and inventory.
- Excellent communication skills
