Logistics and Transportation Manager

Position Overview:

As a Logistics and Transportation Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our logistics operations to ensure the seamless movement of goods and materials. You will be responsible for managing transportation routes, coordinating shipments, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles, ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials to customers.

2. Negotiate contracts with transportation vendors and service providers to secure competitive rates and terms.

3. Monitor transportation costs, analyze cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to reduce expenses while maintaining service quality.

4. Collaborate with internal teams, including warehouse, procurement, and customer service, to coordinate logistics activities and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise.

5. Implement and maintain systems for tracking inventory, shipments, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

2. Proven experience in logistics and transportation management, with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
