Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant Manager to support and manage daily import and export operations in a compliant and efficient manner. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth logistics execution, customs compliance, inventory coordination, and strong collaboration with internal teams and third-party logistics partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong leadership potential, and is passionate about driving continuous improvement in logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure daily import and export operations are executed in compliance with customs laws, regulations, and company policies
- Manage and respond to logistics-related requests from internal customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Provide professional and responsive customer service to internal stakeholders
- Maintain strong working relationships with third-party logistics service providers, carriers, and customs brokers
- Oversee hub inventory-related activities and coordination
- Manage logistics claims, including investigation, documentation, and resolution
- Support customs clearance processes and resolve customs-related issues in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, cost competitiveness, and operational effectiveness
- Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong ability to identify and accurately classify HTS codes
- Proficient in creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, reports, and operational documentation
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality results
- Proven leadership capability with strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- Ability to drive change with a long-term perspective across multiple functions
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a strong team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, plus Mandarin or Spanish
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Understanding of and ability to work within Direct, Functional, and Matrix reporting structures
- Experience operating ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, supply chain, or a related field
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and email systems
- Strong attention to detail; patient, dependable, and passionate about logistics work
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required
- Availability for business travel as needed

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
