Logistics Associate Weekend Operations Specialist (Customer Service, Dispatch & Warehouse)

Job Description

ATL Courier, Inc. — a trusted logistics partner since 1984 — is seeking dependable and motivated Logistics Associates to support our 24/7 operations.

This is a mission-critical, multi-functional role supporting customer service, dispatch, and warehouse operations. Positions are available across both day and overnight schedules, and require strong judgment, urgency, and ownership.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment and are comfortable operating independently when needed.

Available Schedules (2 separate roles)

Overnight Schedule

• Sunday – Tuesday
• 12-hour overnight shifts

Day / Weekend Hybrid Schedule

• Monday & Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Note: Candidates must be able to reliably commit to one of the above schedules. Additional coverage may be required based on operational needs, holidays, or call-offs.

What You’ll Do Customer Service

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
• Respond to service requests, status updates, and escalations with urgency and professionalism
• Provide accurate, timely communication while maintaining company service standards

Dispatch & Operations

• Dispatch and coordinate drivers for scheduled and on-demand deliveries
• Monitor active jobs and ensure service commitments are met
• Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and leadership to resolve issues in real time
• Maintain accurate records within transportation management systems

Warehouse Support

• Perform light warehouse duties including freight verification and staging
• Ensure freight is properly accounted for and prepared for dispatch
• Maintain organization, accuracy, and security within the facility

Training

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (required during onboarding) This training last between 6-8 weeks, not ideal for full time students or a second full time job.

What You Bring

• Experience in logistics, dispatch, warehouse operations, or customer service (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Strong sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills under pressure
• Basic computer proficiency and attention to detail
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
