Logistics Clearance Officer

Major Food stuff trading company in Dubai looking for an Import/ Export Logistics Clearance Officer who coordinates and executes the Imports & Purchase with respective buyers & sellers across the globe. The responsibility also includes follow up and support of the sales destined to export markets as well as following up on the import programs to/from UAE in order to meet the company goals.

Required Skills

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of import/ export logistics, including scheduling, documentation, and customs compliance.
• Liaise with shipping companies to obtain competitive rates,coordinate with local transport companies, municipality, and port authorities to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Prepare shipping documents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, etc. ensuring accuracy and compliance with Dubai Chamber, Dubai Municipality and international trade regulations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to arrange transportation of goods, negotiate rates, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Resolve any shipping-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, by coordinating with relevant parties and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize export logistics processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Fluency in HINDI Language is a MUST

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and experience in Import & Export Sales Management.
• Proven experience working in export logistics or a similar role, preferably in an international business environment.
• Proficiency in using shipping software, such as ERP systems such as Focus, SAP etc
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and import/export compliance regulations is highly desirable.
• Certification or training in logistics, supply chain management, or related areas is a plus.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, with additional language skills being advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
