Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing daily driver schedules, vehicle movements, staff/labour transportation, material delivery coordination, and site/factory logistics. The role ensures smooth coordination between management, admin, HR, site teams, production, and drivers to avoid delays and improve daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Driver Schedule Management
- Prepare and manage daily driver duty schedules.
- Coordinate pickup and drop arrangements for staff, labour, site teams, and management requirements.
- Plan driver duties at least one day in advance wherever possible.
- Ensure drivers are not overburdened and duties are assigned properly.
- Vehicle & Transport Coordination
- Monitor company vehicle movements and availability.
- Coordinate transport for site visits, material delivery, office work, and factory requirements.
- Ensure fixed pickup/drop locations and company transport rules are followed.
- Track urgent transport requests and update concerned departments.
- Material Delivery & Site Support
- Coordinate with production, store, site engineers, and project teams for material dispatch.
- Arrange drivers/vehicles for delivery of materials to sites.
- Follow up on delivery status and confirm completion.
- Support urgent site requirements as per management priority.
- Coordination with Departments
- Work closely with Admin, HR, Production, Store, Site, and Management teams.
- Share daily updates regarding driver availability, vehicle status, and transport planning.
- Maintain clear communication with all departments for smooth operations.
- Driver Communication & Monitoring
- Communicate daily tasks clearly to drivers.
- Ensure drivers report duty status, delays, breakdowns, or urgent issues immediately.
- Monitor punctuality, route planning, and task completion.
- Escalate driver-related issues to management/Admin/HR when required.
- Records & Reporting
- Maintain daily driver duty records.
- Track vehicle usage, fuel details, mileage, service needs, and maintenance updates where required.
- Prepare daily/weekly logistics reports for management.
- Keep proper records of transport requests, completed duties, pending tasks, and urgent movements.
- Compliance & Discipline
- Ensure drivers follow company rules, road safety guidelines, and traffic regulations.
- Report any traffic fines, accidents, misuse of vehicle, or negligence to management.
- Ensure company vehicles are used only for approved official purposes.
Required Skills
- Good coordination and follow-up skills

- Basic MS Excel knowledge for reports and tracking

- Knowledge of UAE roads and site coordination preferred

Qualification & Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in logistics, transport coordination, admin coordination, or similar role
- UAE experience preferred
- Knowledge of driver management and vehicle coordination preferred
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
