Logistics Coordinator

MD Group of Companies are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator with a minimum of 2 to3 years of UAE experience to join our dynamic team immediately!

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible to coordinate and manage the movement of materials, deliveries, and trucks, ensuring smooth logistics operations and timely distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily transportation schedules for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Arrange trucks, drivers, and delivery routes as per operational requirements.
• Monitor truck status and update concerned departments.
• Prepare delivery orders, gate passes, invoices, and related logistics documents.
• Communicate with suppliers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and trip sheets.
• Handle loading/unloading operations and ensure proper material handling.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team.
• Follow up with drivers regarding delivery times, delays, and route plans.
• Resolve logistics issues such as delays, damages, or shortages.
• Maintain compliance with company safety policies and UAE transport regulations.
• Assist in improving logistics procedures for better efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 2–3 years of logistics coordination experience (preferably in UAE).
• Strong knowledge of UAE roads, transport regulations, and documentation.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations (preferred).
