Job Purpose:
To efficiently coordinate and manage the movement of goods between suppliers, warehouses, and supermarket branches, ensuring timely delivery, accurate documentation, and cost-effective logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily logistics operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure timely delivery of stock to all supermarket branches.
- Communicate with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to track shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, returns, and stock transfers.
- Prepare delivery schedules, invoices, and transport documentation.
- Monitor and control logistics costs while maintaining service quality.
- Ensure proper handling of perishable and non-perishable goods during transport.
- Liaise with the procurement and warehouse teams to manage stock levels.
- Resolve delivery delays, discrepancies, or damage issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards.
