Logistics Coordinator

Monarch Trading, a leading distributor and importer of seafood located in Vernon, California is seeking a full time positive, friendly and energetic individual to provide clerical support for its Seafood Division. Experience in working for or with a Cold Storage company or a Seafood Distributor/Importer and providing clerical support for trucking or logistics is a plus.

Specific duties for this position in a fast-paced environment include:

• Entering order information into the Company's computer system
• Coordinate and process delivery releases with our third-party warehouses.
• Create bills of lading and packing slips for deliveries
• Matching purchase orders with inventory records from third party warehouses to ensure all information is accurate. This includes ensuring that receiving information including quantities, product information and charges are accurate and correctly entered into our system.
• Updating order information based on customer pickup and delivery schedules
• Communicating with customers and warehouses over the telephone as well as through email to ensure orders are received and delivered correctly.
• Reviewing orders to make sure inventory is available by the delivery date

In addition to experience in working with a Cold Storage company or a Seafood Distributor/Importer, the ideal candidate should have excellent Microsoft Excel skills and be organized. A high school diploma is required and some college is preferred. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
