Position Overview

The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring efficient freight movement by coordinating driver schedules, tracking shipments, and maintaining clear communication between drivers, warehouse teams, and customers. This position helps ensure pickups and deliveries occur on time while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation schedules, including pickups, deliveries, and driver assignments
• Communicate with drivers regarding routes, load details, delivery instructions, and schedule updates
• Track shipments and provide real-time delivery status updates to customers and internal teams
• Prepare and maintain transportation documents such as Bills of Lading (BOLs), manifests, and proof of delivery
• Identify delays or service issues and help resolve them quickly to maintain on-time deliveries
• Update dispatch systems with accurate load and shipment information
• Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure freight is properly staged and ready for transport
• Support compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
• Assist with reporting, data entry, and general administrative tasks related to transportation operations

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, or Business preferred
• Experience in logistics coordination, dispatch, transportation, or supply chain operations is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Familiarity with dispatch systems, GPS tracking, and basic computer applications
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-focused
