Logistics Coordinator

* Please note that this position will start in Rancho Cucamonga and transition to West Covina in Q2.

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator with a background in trucking operations, dispatch, or freight brokerage to support daily freight movements and driver coordination. This role requires someone who understands trucking workflows, transportation documentation, and load scheduling.

The ideal candidate has prior experience working with carriers, dispatching trucks, coordinating shipments, and managing transportation documentation in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate freight pickups and deliveries
• Create and manage Bills of Lading (BOLs)
• Track shipments and follow up on delivery status
• Collect and organize Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
• Review and approve carrier invoices
• Communicate with in-house drivers and owner-operators regarding schedules and load details
• Assist with booking carriers and coordinating capacity
• Maintain accurate shipment records and operational documentation

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in trucking, dispatch, freight brokerage, or logistics coordination
• Familiarity with transportation documents (BOLs, PODs, load confirmations)
• Experience communicating with drivers and carriers
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and logistics software
• Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:

• Trucking dispatch or freight brokerage experience
• Experience working with owner-operators or managing driver schedules
• Familiarity with load boards or TMS system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,000.00 - $4,800.00 per month
