We are looking for a responsible and proactive individual to manage day-to-day export operations from Kochi to London, UK, and oversee the functioning of our retail shop in Kochi.
This role requires hands-on involvement in documentation, coordination, compliance, and shop management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Export & Import Operations (Kochi – London)
- Handle end-to-end export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Shipping Bill, Certificate of Origin, etc.)
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs clearing agents, and logistics partners
- Ensure compliance with Indian export regulations and UK import requirements
- Manage communication with UK-based partners and ensure smooth shipment tracking
- Oversee packaging, labeling, and dispatch of goods as per UK standards
- Maintain records of shipments, costs, and timelines
- Assist in sourcing raw materials or coordinating imports if required
2. Retail Shop Management (Kochi)
- Manage daily operations of the company’s retail outlet
- Handle billing, stock management, and inventory control
- Ensure proper product display and store hygiene
- Attend to customers and manage retail sales
- Maintain sales records and daily cash handling
- Coordinate replenishment of stock from warehouse/export unit
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
- Strong knowledge of export procedures from Kochi port to the UK
- Familiarity with Indian customs regulations and UK import compliance
- Understanding of FSSAI, labeling requirements, and international shipping norms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email communication, documentation handling)
- Ability to manage both operational and retail responsibilities independently
