The ideal Logistics Coordinator-Dispatcher candidate will be able to work both individually and in a team environment, have excellent attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills. This position will be 10% warehouse and 90% administrative. This position is full-time in our Washington facility.

The working hours for this position are:

Mon-Fri 9:30am – 4:00pm

Every other Saturday 2:30pm-9:30pm

This position is a hybrid position.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is primarily responsible for overseeing and facilitating the courier operations, sort & warehousing, and customer care for DSA, to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to our customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for dispatching courier drivers, tracking and tracing, providing support to driver fleet for all road issues, (breakdowns, bad addresses, difficult deliveries, etc.), communicating all issues with management and customer care teams.
• E-mail communication
• Oversee sort, scanning and warehouse operation.
• Loading/Unloading trucks.
• OS&D accuracy and reporting
• Customer contact and interaction
• Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively.
• Utilize computer to monitor route deliveries.
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
• Maintain delivery tracking logs and records for all customer related services.
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Other projects and/or duties as assigned which may include minor warehouse assistance.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3 years of Logistics/3PL experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of Courier experience
• Minimum of 3 years of Telephone dispatch experience.
• Minimum of 3 years transportation industry experience.
• Energetic and professional with excellent verbal skills.
• Computer literate in Office Suite programs, CRM software and navigating the internet.
• Sit down forklift/pallet jack experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual-Highly recommended.
• Strong Leadership skills preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position may require some minor warehouse work support.

EDUCATION

High School diploma or equivalent.
