Logistics Coordinator (Sohar Port & Freezone)

Sohar Port is a major industrial and logistics hub connecting Oman to global trade routes.

A Logistics Coordinator coordinates the entire supply chain process, ensuring shipments, inventory, and transport operations run on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shipment Coordination

Arrange and track shipments (import/export)

Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport companies

Ensure deliveries arrive on schedule

2. Inventory & Stock Management

Monitor stock levels in warehouses or ports

Update inventory systems (SAP, Oracle, Excel)

Prevent shortages or overstocking

3.Documentation Handling

Prepare and review:

Bills of lading

Delivery orders

Customs documents

Ensure compliance with import/export regulations

4.Planning & Coordination

Plan transport routes and delivery schedules

Coordinate between suppliers, warehouses, and clients

Solve delays or shipping issues

5.Communication & Reporting

Communicate with:

Shipping agents

Internal operations teams

Clients or vendors

Prepare logistics performance reports (on-time delivery, cost tracking)

6.Problem Solving

Handle delays, damaged goods, or missing shipments

Optimize logistics processes to reduce cost and time

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s in:

Supply Chain / Logistics / Business / Engineering

Skills:

Excel / SAP / ERP systems

Strong communication

Organization & multitasking

Experience:

0–2 years (junior)

3–5+ years (mid-level)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RO800.000 per month

Work Location: In person
